- 125ml - light brown sugar
- 250ml - cake flour
- 60ml - cocoa powder
- 10ml - baking powder
- 80ml - milk
- 5ml - vanilla essence

- - extra cocoa powder ice cream or whipped cream
This tasty chocolate pudding is easy to whip up.
Preheat the oven to 170 °C. Grease an ovenproof dish with nonstick spray.
1 Sauce Heat all the ingredients together in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside.
2 Pudding Mix the oil, egg and sugar well in a mixing bowl.
3 Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
4 Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir in the vanilla essence and pour the batter into the prepared ovenproof dish. Pour the sauce evenly over the top.
5 Bake the pudding for 30-35 minutes or until it forms a crust on top (the pudding will be saucy at the bottom).
6 To serve Sift extra cocoa powder over the pudding and serve hot with ice cream or whipped cream.
