This time last year they were on top of the world and clocking up record after record: the earliest title league in the Premier League, the biggest point lead at any time and the most consecutive home wins. But how the mighty have fallen. This year Liverpool is on a red-hot losing streak, with six league losses in a row at Anfield – unheard of in the club’s 129-year history – and only three wins in their last 14 games.
