It’s widely believed that home is where the heart is – but to these homeowners, it’s more a case of where the art is. And it doesn’t matter how outlandish that artistry may be.

People from around the world have been sharing pictures of properties they believe no one would want to live in to a Facebook group called That’s It, I'm Architecture Shaming. 

On the list there's even an oddly-shaped shop and block of flats. 

One architecture expert believes the quirky designs come from people’s innate desire to demonstrate their uniqueness.

But, she adds, each to their own. “As long as it’s for the people who inhabit or use their private space, I mean, why not?” she tells Bored Panda.
