He looks like he stepped straight out of a sci-fi movie – his nose, lips and ears have been sliced off, bumps protrude from his head and his entire body, including his eyeballs, are covered in dark tattoos.
Yet Anthony Loffredo isn’t wearing a stitch of makeup: everything you see is real.
The Frenchman, who goes by the name “black alien” on social media, is on a mission to transform himself to look like an extraterrestrial being.
Over the past decade Anthony (33) has gone under the knife countless times.
The self-confessed body modification addict started off with face tattoos and earspools before deciding to have his body parts surgically removed.
He’s cut off his ears, top lip and nose. Anthony also has dermal implants to create the alien-like ridges on his head and cheekbones.
And he had his tongue surgically split to look like a reptile’s.
Last November he chopped off his left pinky and ring finger so he could create a claw hand.
Extreme body modification surgery is illegal in most parts of the world so Anthony, who lives in Australia, has been forced to fly to Mexico and Spain where surgeons agreed to do the surgery
Though he wouldn’t say exactly where the controversial surgery was done, he says it’s “one more dream that has come true”.

Anthony’s obsession with becoming the world’s most modified man dates back to his childhood.
“From a very young age, I have been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body,” he says.
While working as a security guard in France in his 20s, he realised he wasn’t living his childhood dream.
“I stopped everything and left for Australia,” he recalls.
There he created a new life for himself, documenting his body modifications online for followers to see.
Today he has 1 million followers, but some are divided by his striking appearance.
“Blatant disrespect to those that are unfortunate to have lost limbs and look for ways to function as the human body should,” someone wrote on social media.
“This is disturbing AND fascinating at the same time, don’t think I could do this, but thumbs up to you for living your dream,” said another.
Anthony, however, is paying no mind to critics.
He says he has no plans to stop his body modification surgeries until he reaches his desired appearance.
He admits he struggled to speak when he had his top lip removed a few years ago but even this hasn’t dampened his determination.
According to him, he's not even halfway through his transformation.
Anthony now plans to have two fingers removed on his right hand to create another claw.
He also dreams of replacing his skin with metal.
“It has become normal, even unconscious, to constantly think about my plans for body modification for the next few months,” he says.
