Doggone it, this canine is cool! Ducky effortlessly rocks colourful sweaters with bright sunglasses to match and knows just how to work the camera.
But it’s his hairstyles that truly steal the show. Whether it’s braids, top knots or buns, Ducky the Shih Tzu pulls off each look with ease.
And the sassy little pooch laps up the attention, says
owner Erin Lea (30).
“He loves being pampered and lives off fresh dog food,” says Erin, an office manager from Texas in the US.
“He loves cheese and he sleeps with me and [her husband] Mike every night.”
Thanks to his luscious locks, Ducky has racked up a sizeable following on social media, with more than 11 000 followers on Instagram.
In one of the images on his Insta feed, Ducky gazes into the camera while his hair blows in the wind. In another, he rocks pigtail buns, a funky shirt and neon-green sunnies.
Erin says Ducky loves trying new hairstyles and sits
patiently while she whips his tresses into shape every day.
“Ducky has such long hair on the top of his head that it’s easy to style.”
The perfectly coiffed pooch also owns a bigger wardrobe than her and Mike (33) combined.
“We’ve now got an entire bedroom dedicated for his things and he has racks of clothes which are mostly all bespoke,” Erin says. “Ducky loves wearing clothes and accessories. He’ll even sit still with a pair of glasses on.
“He’s such a little fashionista and due to his size, he can normally fit into baby clothes.”
“Ducky is just as sassy as he looks in his photos,” Erin says. “There’s no doubt he knows he’s special.”
