A dying father and husband from Connecticut in the US had the joy of holding his newborn baby minutes before he took his last breath. 

Haley Parke shared the "most joyous, but also the most somber" news of losing her husband and bringing her second-born son into the world on the same day. 

On Sunday 28 November her husband, John Brinton "JB" Parke (33), was admitted to hospital due to complications from his cancer. Doctors had initially given him a six-month prognosis but three days later the family were told he only had days to live.
