All this Durban woman wanted was to look beautiful – but she paid the ultimate price for an illegal butt-lift procedure

Lying on her stomach, she holds her cellphone out so her social media followers can see exactly what’s happening behind her. She wants them all to know everything about her latest procedure – one that will give her a curvy derrière like her idol, Kim Kardashian.

But what Karissa Rajpaul doesn’t share with her followers is that she’s having the procedure in someone’s home instead of a sterile surgical environment.

Karissa, who’s originally from Durban, moved to Los Angeles in 2016 and established herself as an influencer. She decided to do a butt augmentation procedure two years ago – a decision that proved to be fatal.
