They knew their daughter had many challenges – but noting could prepare them for losing her.

After choking on her milk at a day care centre in Mbombela, Mpumalanga when she was a baby, Mienke Mulder suffered brain damage.

Even though doctors prepared her parents for the possibility the little girl would never be able to speak or walk, the couple did everything in their power to give her the best medical care.Now their little girl has lost the battle she’s fought so valiantly.
