Dizzying speeds, knee-grazing bends and stomach-churning wipe-outs: the world of MotoGP is for serious adrenaline junkies – and one South African is right up there with the best of them. 

Brad Binder became the talk of the motorcycling world and an overnight local sensation when he zoomed to victory in the Czech Republic Grand Prix.  

The 25-year-old also made history by becoming the first rider to win an elite-class grand prix for his team, Red Bull, and rocketed into fifth place in the world championship standings at the time.
