To celebrate the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, YouTube sensation Lasizwe has recreated some of Kim Kardashian West’s most famous looks.

The 20th and final season of the Kardashian-Jenner reality show premiered on E! (DStv channel 124) on Sunday 21 March – and Lasizwe took full advantage of the hype.

He got dolled up in outfits similar to Kim K’s 2018 glimmering gold Met gala dress, her iconic 2014 Paper magazine cover that “broke the internet” and the unforgettable caramel latex suit she squeezed into for Paris Fashion Week last year.

“Me as @kimkardashian in her ICONIC looks! Did I nail it? ???” he captioned the post.

Lasizwe is the star of MTV South Africa’s Fake It Till You Make It series, which documents the 22-year-old’s life, family and relationships and he says he’s been inspired by the Kardashians – the “royal family of reality” – for years.

“I wanna give South Africa something different. 90% of South African reality shows have some realness to them but I don’t think they have this kinda real – I go into detail which gets me in so much trouble with my family,” he said of his show, in an interview with The Citizen last year. “You’ll see, during the course of the episodes when we speak about the issues we address on the show, it’s actually like real things that I go through on the show and things that are happening in our industry and stuff.”

Lasizwe, who is no stranger to colourful wigs and makeup, has become known for keeping Mzansi entertained with his videos and posts on YouTube and Instagram. He’s often caught on camera dressing up as the various characters he’s created for some of his highly relatable and hilarious skits. And with over 1 million followers on Instagram, he’s got to be doing something right.

Now it’s the Kardashians’ turn to be given some Lasizwe flavour!

For 19 seasons and 14 years KUWTK has have kept the world entertained with epic family fights, ugly cries, jaw-dropping surprises and all those baby births.  Their farewell season will be filled with even more laughing, crying and eyebrow-raising drama to get people talking.

Here’s some idea of how the internet has been reacting to the final season of KUWTK:
