A mother will do anything for her children – and if they’re in trouble, she’ll move heaven and Earth to get them help.

Which is exactly what Natasha Burrows did when one of her precious triplets faced a life-or-death situation. It didn’t matter that she had to fly halfway across the world – or that she needed to brave an unprecedented wave of looting and violence to get him to hospital.

Tiny David needed an operation to save his life and that was all that mattered. The little boy, who will celebrate his first birthday in November with his brothers, Joshua and Benjamin, was born with a condition called ventricular septal defect (VSD).
