When he’s feeling stressed he kicks back, puts on some Eminem and spends time chilling with his pets. Nothing unusual about that, you may think – except his pets aren’t cute cats, doting dogs or chubby-cheeked hamsters. They’re tarantulas – and they’ve well and truly woven Justin Rabie’s heart into their web. 

The 26-year-old from Vanderbijlpark in Gauteng has 30 of the spiders at his home and the creepy-crawly collection brings him nothing but joy.

“Filling their water bowls, feeding them or drawing them while listening to music – that’s how I relax,” he tells YOU.
