He was sceptical at first when he heard about the hype surrounding medical cannabis. This was dagga, he thought – he didn’t want to be involved.

But the more Andre Bothma found out about it, the more intrigued he became. He started doing his own research and discovered people in this business weren’t smoking their socks. The legal cannabis industry was taking off around the world and he wanted in.

Cannabidiol or CBD oil, which is extracted from cannabis plants, has been introduced into a variety of health and wellness products, from teas to sweets to concentrated herbal extracts.
