A self-motivated young gymnast has been training harder than ever during lockdown – and she even has a six-pack to show for it.

Lyza Brooks Mosier (10) from Georgia in the US works out five days a week for a total of 30 hours.

“Lyza is completely self-motivated as she wants to become the best of the be

st,” says her mom, Jill Mosier (45).

“She stays on top of her game by getting up at 5:30am to train. We have set up all sorts of gymnastics stations in our storage room where she goes for hours to work out.”

Lyza started gymnastics as a four-year-old and doesn’t plan quitting any time soon after becoming interested in working out last year.

“She fell in love with working out when she started coming to my fitness classes last summer and she has drastically improved in such a short time,” Jill explained.

“She aims to be the best gymnast she can possibly be, nothing will get in her way.”

While many people have described Lyza’s fitness regime as “excessive”, her mother says the family doesn’t force her to do anything she’s uncomfortable with.

“I assure you, we have nothing to do with this. I have four kids and Lyza begs to work out,” Jill said

“I’m so proud of her and I can’t wait for her to achieve her dreams and become an elite gymnast.”
