Playground becomes a protest and arrest ground.

A mom, who’s a staunch advocate against vaccines (commonly known as an anti-vaxxer), was arrested at a playground protest, right in front of her children.

Sara Brady, who runs a group called Idahoans for Vaccine Freedom, was cuffed by police on charges of trespassing during the protest, the Mirror reports.

The group argues against the use of injections to inoculate people from diseases.

They’ve been protesting against the closure of city parks and orders from the governor of Idaho to stay at home in order to slow the spread of Covid-19.

According to Buzzfeed News, Sara and the group removed police tape to enter a closed playground where she refused a police request to leave, prior to her arrest.

“I didn’t wake up today thinking, I’m taking my kids to the park to get arrested – but when tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty!” Sara said to supporters following her release.

“We have a duty to stand up to tyranny, or we’re gonna lose our republic.”

The protest was live streamed on Facebook and was a follow-up to a large rally against stay-at-home restrictions.
