This bachelor has innovatively found a possible solution to combat his singledom this Valentine’s Day.

Mark Rofe from Sheffield in England has taken matters into his own hands by hiring out a billboard worth £425 (about R8 000) in an attempt to attract the perfect partner.

According to The Sun, the billboard of the 30-year-old is set up on a busy road in Manchester and features a website he’s set up for hopefuls to make a date with him.

“I've had more than 100 people get in touch. Unfortunately half are men but I'm still very flattered,” the suitor said speaking to the BBC.

Mike, who’s allegedly been single for a year, revealed that the idea to set up the billboard was sparked when he was in a bar one day and complained to his mates about how apps weren’t helping him get back onto the dating scene.

“I was talking to my mate saying how I was struggling on all these dating apps and I joked that I should put my face on a big billboard,” he said.

“We laughed about it but then, actually, I thought, ‘What a good idea’.”

The billboard features an image of Mark lying on his side, along with the words, ‘Single? Date Mark. This could be the sign you’ve been waiting for’,” the Independent reported.

So, if you’re into a 1,8m tall man who has an index finger which measures 6,82cm and who has also kissed more than three women, then Mark might be just who you’re looking for.
