A casual workday turned into a nightmare for a waiter who decided to go commando and his unsuspecting manager.

Be warned: make sure you wear underwear to work or you could end up like this young man whose father shared his story on Twitter.

The man identified only as Zach wore a pair of trousers to work that he described as “a little tight”, and the decision irrevocably changed his relationship with his manager.

The dad, who doesn’t disclose his identity on social media, going by username HereHoldMyBeer, shared a text conversation he had with his son after his pants ripped in front of his manager, reports Daily Mail.

It went downhill from there, as Zach wasn’t wearing any underwear because it was his “laundry day”.

During the incident, his manager, Kelly, happened to walk past just as the trousers ripped, or as Zach describes it “exploded”, and she got more than an eyeful.

Zach’s dad couldn’t contain himself and shared their hilarious exchange following the event on Twitter, resulting in the cringeworthy story going viral.

“Omg, I thought I was having a day. This just happened to my son at work,” Zach’s dad captioned the tweeted screenshots, Mirror reported.

“Okay, so I have these nice black slacks that are a little tight, but they fit me nice,” read the text.

“Anyways, I was knelt down picking up some soup bowls today and they literally exploded off of my body,” Zach hilariously explained.

Then the unthinkable happened, his manager, Kelly, walked into the kitchen at that exact moment.

“Everybody at least saw cheek,” Zach said, retelling the embarrassing moment to his father. Unfortunately, Kelly saw more than that.

The post has since received more than 8 000 likes on Twitter and many users just couldn’t control their laughter.

Let this be a cautionary tale to us all.
