This youngster took to the internet in pursuit of the perfect roach-buster following a terrifying encounter in his kitchen.

Bhargav Chavda from Australia went onto online classifieds website Gumtree and shared an ad after he spotted what he described as an “abnormally large roach” scuttling through his kitchen, the Mirror reported.

The 24-year-old business student revealed how he’d just arrived home after a long day, according to the Daily Mail. He went to the kitchen to grab a bite, and was shocked to see a roach flying there.

“Need roach dead right now, ASAP,” reads his online advert, which also says he’s willing to pay R300 “cash for the task” of having it killed.

“Please bring spray etc, if needed. I only have thongs, cloth, broom. Please respond ASAP, [I’m] hungry,” Bhargav ended the ad request.

But it appears he wasn’t able to get the help he needed – instead people found the advert rather hilarious.

“Unfortunately, I don’t know what’s wrong with the world,” he later wrote. “People are responding [with] ‘this is funny’ or ‘you just made my day.’”
