A pair of beautiful lookalikes from different continents discovered their likeness online.

And you wouldn't be the only one thinking you’re seeing double.

Bianca Mihai (18) from Buzau in Romania learned about her doppelganger, Palestinian-Syrian Lana Al Beik (25) who lives in Dubai, through a photographer friend who spotted their uncanny likeness, The Sun reports.

Bianca was told about Lana by her pal Alexandra Danciu, who is a journalist and founder of the Freedom Station - a film documentary project based in London and creates inspirational stories.

Alexandra, who met Bianca on the set of Romania’s Got Talent, decided to create the documentary, Twin Strangers - Another continent, another me, to capture the moment the pair met for the first time.

“It was obvious that I am going to create this beautiful story and I went from London to Romania to do an interview with Bianca and then I travelled to Dubai to meet Lana,” Alexander tells YOU.

“I took my production team and Bianca, and we went to meet Lana in Dubai.”

Bianca, who is a singer, couldn't believe her eyes when he showed her and her family photos of Lana.

“My parents showed the pictures to my grandmother who said 'wow, where did you take those images? Very beautiful Bianca, how stunning you are’,” Bianca said.

As fate would have it, Lana stumbled across her doppelganger through a loved one online.

“One day my mum was on Instagram when she asked me about a video. I said, 'Mum, I don't sing. That's not me there',” said Lana.

"She said, 'seriously, that isn't you?'

"I asked her, ‘You don't even know your own daughter?’

"She thought I was on stage singing, but it was Bianca."

With the help of Alexandra, Bianca travelled to meet her mirror image in Duba.

The lookalikes met on a beach, where they were instantly overwhelmed with emotion.

“It really is something magical,” Bianca said.

The singer shared a snap with her twinning new bestie on her Instagram, where her followers were stunned by their near perfect resemblance.

“I thought the picture was edited,” one fan wrote.

While others were simply stunned, writing, “Wow!”

Bianca and Lana plan to meet up again, this time in Romania, Bianca’s home country.
