A pregnant mom of three has revealed how she prepared a whopping 152 meals and 228 snacks at 37 weeks pregnant to prepare for the birth of her baby.
Jessica May Magill, from Sydney, Australia, wanted her family to be prepared for the arrival of baby number four, Daily Mail reports.
Despite having swollen ankles, Jessica cooked up a storm which included preschool meals for her three children and an array of snacks.
“I’m almost 37 weeks with my fourth bubba and my eldest is only four, so life is about to get (even more) crazy!” Jessica explained.
“I spent today in the kitchen and while I no longer have ankles, I now have two full freezers ready for when bub arrives!”
According to healthymummy.com, most of the meals Jessica prepared are vegan.
She said she wanted to show mothers around the world that eating healthily doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consuming.
Speaking about her top tips for meal preppers, Jessica said it's important to be organised and methodical.
“Pick recipes with similar ingredients so you can buy in bulk and save money,” she said.
“It also helps to make double batches of the same recipe – again this saves money but it also only takes a few extra minutes for a lot of extra food.”
Some of the impressive meals Jessica has prepared include eight servings of peanut butter chicken curry, 24 kids’ servings of mac and cheese, 32 servings of choc chip banana bread and 28 veggie “sausage” rolls.
