Deep-Fried Cheesy Frikkadels

Covered in creamy cheese and deep-fried to perfection, these crumbed meatballs are bursting with layers of flavour. 


oil for deep frying

250ml (1c) cream cheese

250ml (1c) cheese

5ml (1t) salt

60ml (¼c) chives, chopped

350g Eskort Mini Frikkadels

250ml (1c) flour

2 eggs, beaten

250ml (1c) breadcrumbs


  • Place a pot of oil over moderate heat.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheese, salt and chives.
  • Cover frikkadels with the cheese mixture.
  • Coat the balls in flour, egg, then breadcrumbs.
  • Deep-fry until golden.
  • Serve with mayo and sweet chilli sauce.
