The renowned traditional healer takes centre stage on the brand-new Sangoma, Khanyisa! show on HONEY (DStv 173). Desperate people from across South Africa descend on Mkhulu Rametsi’s consultation room to ask the questions they have been needing answers to. From women who fear they are cursed in pregnancy and people who fear their partners are cheating on them to people who have vivid dreams and are unlucky in love. The show is hosted by Media and Radio Personality, Penny Lebyane, who guides those who come to consult with Mkhulu Rametsi.

We sat down with the sangoma to catch up.

1.What does being a part of a pan-African lifestyle channel mean to you

It opens a lot of doors for me, and it teaches a lot of people about our culture and beliefs.

2. What can people expect from the show?

What people can expect from watching the show is that I give guidance and light to alot of people that are haunted by their past and also help with finding the answers to their questions by connecting with their ancestors

3. What is the worst misconception you've ever heard about traditional healing?

The worst misconception I've heard about a traditional healer is that they don't believe in God and most of them are witches or their dark and that's all false information.

4.What are three TV shows you're currently obsessed with?

Three shows I'm obsessed with would definitely be Sangoma, Khanyisa! I also love The Ten, Mom Vs. Wife and My Horror Love Story.

5. What's the next step for Mkhulu Rametsi?

To educate people about spirituality and keep on helping people that are seeking for spiritual guidance
