Parents! Have you heard of this nifty ridesharing service? It’s for parents, by parents and is available in the d6 Connect app.
While there are some parents who need lifts for their kids, there are those who can pick up and drop off their children, and they often do so with empty seats in their vehicles. This new ridesharing service connects these two parents.
Parents who book lifts through d6 Connect can rest assured that their children are in safe hands as the driver is also a parent that needs to drive their own kids. As a bonus, the app creates extra revenue opportunities for driving parents (conditions apply*). For extra peace of mind, the app’s location function allows you to track your child’s trip from start to finish.
This is how it works
Find the “Rides” option in d6 Connect. Create a profile for yourself and your children and connect with other parents in your community. If you’re a parent who can offer a lift, upload the trip details here.
You’ll only be able to book rides if there are parents in your community offering lifts. So, the more parents using the platform, the better.
What is the d6 Connect app?
The d6 Connect app was developed to simplify communication between parents and schools.
It’s a useful source of all the information you need to stay involved and informed – all at the press of a button.
Parents must be part of a d6 Connect school to use the service. (The parent’s contact number must be on the school’s database)
