The Binlaanie idea which stemmed from the already-used crates and liners widely used in the wine industry in Stellenbosch is made from treated pine, with reinforced galvanised steel corners and fitted with 3mm durable plastic liner. A Binlaanie can carry 880 litres of water at capacity and support over 1 500kg. Three coatings of Woodoc 50 Marine varnish are guaranteed to keep the rain off during winter, if left out in the elements.
You’ll only need to run the 330 gallon/h (1 249L) Intex pool pump for an hour after each use and your water will last for months. Keep unwanted foreign objects out with the thick, durable lid that gives your Binlaanie water the extra protection it needs.
There’s more good news. You don’t have to leave it at home. Take it with you on holiday as it fits perfectly in the back of a bakkie.
When it’s chilly outside, heat the water up with a submersible heater in winter or use it as an ice bath for those recovery sessions after a hard workout. Be Laanie and get a Binlaanie!
