Princess Stephanie is one of the most colourful and enigmatic members of Europe’s most glamorous royal family. 

She pops up here and there at glitzy Monaco functions, often with her children, but it’s usually big sister Caroline and big brother Albert who hog the headlines.

But a recent interview her eldest child, Pauline Ducruet, has shed more light on once wild-child Princess Stephanie, the daughter who gave her father grey hairs by running off with decidedly un-royal characters and who seemed to live both a charmed and tragic life.
