Turning is a milestone in anyone’s life – but when you’re the only daughter of the queen of England, a cake and a couple of prezzies just won’t do.

The royal family announced they would be celebrating Princess Anne’s life and work on social media with a series of images leading up to her birthday on 15 August.They kicked things off with an image taken in 1950 of Anne as a baby with her mom, dad and older brother, Prince Charles.Her christening at Buckingham Palace followed where she wore the traditional Honiton lace gown.
