They come in for a regular pounding for all sorts of reasons. They’re self-centred, they’re hypocrites, they’re the ultimate have-their-cake-and-eat-it couple.

But even the fiercest anti Harry and Meghanites have to concede these two have clout. Sure, they raise eyebrows and rub people the wrong way. Yet they’re doing what they set out to do: carve their own way in the world.

This was driven home again when the Sussexes appeared on the cover of Time after making the magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World list in the Icons category.
