He wouldn’t look out of place on a catwalk or on the fashion
pages of a magazine, but Princess Margaret’s grandson has far more noble things
to do – like row around Britain to raise money for charity.
The easy-on-the-eye youngster – whose mother is Princess Margaret’s
daughter, Lady Sarah Chatto (56) – shared the news on the team’s Instagram
account along with a video of the team jumping into the Thames River.
“We
are thrilled to announce we finished the GB Row under tower bridge in 42 days 8
hrs 23 mins 16 seconds and became the youngest team ever to row around Great
Britain. It was an amazing moment and made it all worth it.”
The challenge saw the quartet set off on 8 July from London
Bridge and raise a whopping £21 500 (about R485 700) which will be shared
between the Just One Ocean charity and the British Red Cross.
But for all those wondering, he’s taken. Long-term girlfriend
and fellow student Lizzie Friend was among those waiting to welcome him home at
St Katherine Docks along with his father, Daniel Chatto and brother, Samuel
(24).
The queen is said to be delighted with one’s grandson.
