It’s a humble plant commonly found in South Africa and it’s not just popular because everyone is buzzing about it on social media. It really works. As a medicinal plant, Aloe vera has been used for thousands of years to treat various ailments. Aloe gel, the clear substance found inside the leaves, is an “it” ingredient rich in antioxidants that should form part of any woman’s skincare armour.

It contains vitamins A, C, and E – all antioxidants that neutralise damaging free radicals.

It's also a natural source of vitamin B, and contains the minerals calcium, chromium, copper, selenium, and magnesium as well as various fatty acids.
