Angela Jaynes, who’s known online as Kalypsoh, uses clay and oil paint to create bizarre food illusions on her skin, Metro reports.
“I’ve always been into makeup and art,” she said.
“The special effects came into play around three years ago after seeing it gain popularity online.”
The 27-year-old from Boston in the US has amassed an online following on Instagram after she shared some of her gory food creations.
“I’d never seen it done before and it caught my attention. These looks are fun and eye-catching for me. I feel excitement during the whole process,” she explained.
In some of the images, foods such as waffles, pumpkin, pasta and nachos seem to be spilling out of or tearing through her flesh.
“I was really about to put real food on my leg!” she says but decided to use clay and oil paint instead.
“People love watching the process videos, seeing exactly how I did it and something about the removals is also satisfying to people.”
