Just when you thought you’ve recovered from the idea of the vagina scented candle – Gwyneth creates an orgasm one.

In recent years the 47-year-old’s lifestyle brand Goop has launched some eyebrow-raising products – and its most recent addition isn’t any different, BuzzFeed reports.

Speaking in a virtual interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actress revealed to host Jimmy Fallon that her vagina scented candle got so much traction it sold out.

But now that it’s been restocked, she’s decided also to add a candle scented like her orgasm, Glamour reports.

"What a punk-rock, feminist statement, to have that on your table . . . and we have a new one, which actually might be more for you to give to your wife,” Gwyneth said before unboxing another candle during the virtual call with Jimmy.

“This smells like my orgasm. Naturally,” she added.

While the orgasm scented candle is only available for pre-order, the vagina scented candle is back in stock and going for $75 (around R1 275) a pop at the Goop shop.

Here’s a look at other bizarre wellness products Gwyneth’s Goop lab has introduced to the market over the years.

Vaginal steaming

In 2015, Gwyneth shared her experience of getting vaginal steaming also known as V-steaming – a treatment that was aimed at creating hormonal balance and cleansing, US Magazine reports.

The $15 000 (R232 000) sex toy

Goop lab launched a 24-carat gold sex toy in 2016 that cost about $15 000 (around R232 000) – for those that don’t put a price tag on pleasure.

Jade egg

Then in 2017, Goop launched an egg for women to insert into their lady parts. It promised to assist with sexual pleasure, energy and hormonal balance, Washington Post reports.

According to Vox, the dark nephrite egg at the time sold for $66 (then R904) but gynaecologists warned that it could do more harm than good, which led to the lab receiving a $145 000 (around R1,986 million) lawsuit.

It seems no product is off-market or too taboo when it comes to Goop lab, we can only wonder what’s next.
