It looks as if Pierce Brosnan was saving lives on and off set.

What was meant to be a seduction scene in Die Another Day in 2002 between Halle Berry’s onscreen character Jinx and Pierce Brosnan who played James Bond, 007, soon turned into a real-life disaster after she started choking on a fig, HuffPost reported.

Speaking in a recent virtual interview with talk show host Jimmy Fallon, the 53-year-old got candid about an embarrassing action sequence she did.

"I was supposed to be all sexy, trying to seduce him with a fig, and then I end up choking on it," the Oscar-winning actress recalled.

It was at this point the 66-year-old actor got up and performed the Heimlich manoeuvre – a first-aid technique that involves abdominal thrusts, reported Metro. "So not sexy," Halle said, describing the incident.

"You never see that in a James Bond movie," Jimmy added.

"You should’ve seen it," Halley responded.

"James Bond knows how to Heimlich. He [Pierce] was there for me. He’ll always one of my favourite people in the whole world."
