With the majority of the world now being homebound amid the global coronavirus outbreak, many have more time on their hands as their cities are either in lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus or at the very least have cancelled events and urged people to self-isolate.

And because humans are social creatures it’s easy to feel lonely and become bored with just yourself for company, but social media has helped keep many both informed and entertained, bringing everyone together virtually.

Celebs have been sharing videos on their social media pages, showing us what they’ve been getting up to while self-isolating and self-quarantining.

Check it out:

Nina Hastie

The South African comedian shared a hilarious video of her giving tips on how to clean your house while your workers stay home for their safety.

Zozibini Tunzi

Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi took us all by surprise when she revealed late last year that she had a rather mellifluous voice. She’s now using her majestic vocal cords to serenade us from the comfort of her New York apartment – and we can’t get enough of it!

Chad Saaiman

The Mzansi singer isn’t just a pretty face, and he makes sure we remember that whenever he unleashes his jaw-dropping vocals. Chad, who makes up one-third of R&B trio The Black Ties, shared a “social-distancing freestyle” on Sunday night – and the ladies were sold.

Rita Wilson

American actress Rita Wilson and her husband, actor Tom Hanks, were among the first celebrities who tested positive for Covid-19, Variety reports.

While they’ve been in isolation, the pair have assured fans they’re well taken care of although their symptoms largely remain the same.

The couple are apparently getting rid of the doom and gloom by playing gin rummy, and most recently Rita shared a hilarious video of herself rapping to Naughty By Nature’s 1993 hit, Hip Hop Hooray.
