What’s not to love about Dolly Parton? The voice, the hair, the in-your-face attitude, the unashamed penchant for a spot of bodily enhancement – she’s one of a kind.

But Dolly also has a heart of gold and kindness and compassion ooze from every pore of her diminutive frame – anyone who knows will tell you that. And the world came to realise it again this week when news emerged the country music legend had donated $1 million of her own money to help fund a Covid-19 vaccine.
