She played a child prostitute in Pretty Baby aged just 11. At 14 she was romping naked on a tropical island with her 18-year-old male co-star in the coming-of-age blockbuster Blue Lagoon.

A year later the world would hear her utter that famous line – “Do you know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing” – as she posed provocatively in just a pair of Calvin Klein jeans in the brand’s denim campaign.

Few actresses have been as sexualised as Brooke Shields from so early on in their careers – and now the 57-year-old finds herself the subject of a new documentary that explores just that.
