Until recently, hardly anyone knew who she was. Sure, she was in a role or two here and there, but overall, nothing about her really stood out. However, things have certainly changed now thanks to her portrayal of one of the most famous women in the world. 

It’s unlikely Elizabeth Debicki will fade into obscurity again. And in a case of life imitating art, the Australian actress seems to be stealing the limelight from the woman meant to be at the centre stage of everything. 

In real life, Princess Diana often seemed to overshadow the queen. And Elizabeth, who plays her in the latest season of Netflix hit, The Crown, is stealing the show from veteran actress Imelda Staunton, who plays Queen Elizabeth II.
