When Kate Hudson (41) visited Gwyneth Paltrow (48) on her Goop podcast on Tuesday the two actresses and fellow moms had fun reminiscing about who they liked and didn’t like getting hot and heavy with on camera. When Gwyneth asked Kate who she felt was her best smoocher, Kate replied, “Honestly, I feel like I kind of haven’t had the best kissers. I feel like I should have had better ones.”

She then went on to mention Matthew McConaughey, who she locked lips with in both 2008’s Fool’s Gold and How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days in 2003.

“Every time I kissed [Matthew], I mean, it’s like there’s just something happening and there’s like snot, or wind. Like when we were kissing in the end of Fool’s Gold, we’re like in the ocean, we had the plane crash, he just had snot all over his face!” she said, giggling.

Meanwhile Gwyneth, who currently stars in the TV series The Politician, described kissing her fellow Marvel actor and close friend Robert Downey Jr to “kissing my brother”.

“With Robert, like, when I kissed him, I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me, this is literally like kissing my brother’,” she recalled.

The two starred alongside each other in both the Iron Man and Avengers franchises.

One person who Kate wouldn’t mind kissing again is Billy Crudup, even though their lip-locking scene in 2000’s Almost Famous ended up on the cutting room floor.

“You know who was a good kisser, but you didn’t see it because they cut it out, was Billy. He was good. That was good,” says Kate, who can be seen in the upcoming film Music co-starring Juliette Lewis and Maddie Ziegler.

“Yes,” Gwynnie replies, “he looks like he would be a good kisser.”

Before signing off, the beautiful pair dished one other juicy titbit.

“Is there a famous person that you’ve had a thing with that the world doesn’t know about?” Gwyneth asked her pal, who responded quickly with, “Oh, yeah. Doesn’t everybody? If they said no, they’re lying!”

Of course, in real life Gwyneth is married to Glee creator Brad Falchuk (49) while Kate is in a relationship with musician Danny Fujikawa (34) with whom she shares a two-year-old daughter, Rani Rose. She also has two older sons – Ryder (16) and Bingham (9) – with singers Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy respectively. Gwyneth has two children – daughter Apple (16) and son Moses (14) – from her marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
