On the night he was told about the role that would catapult him to a new level of fame, he took a sleeping pill to calm down while he waited to hear from casting directors. 

But the pill was so effective that the next morning he had no recollection of what they’d said and couldn’t recall them telling him he’d landed the role. 

“I woke up thinking, aww, man, I really wanted that job,” Pedro Pascal says.
