Kim Kardashian West's unique and infamous rise to fame is no secret.
The reality TV star (40) stepped into the spotlight as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton but she only really grabbed the world’s attention with the 2007 release of her sex tape featuring her and her then-boyfriend, rapper Ray J.
She’s previously poked fun at the prospect of having to explain the reason for her fame to her children, having posted an awkward 2019 clip of her then-five-year-old daughter, North West, asking why she’s famous.
Although Kim managed to successfully sidestep the infamous sex tape in the clip, things might soon could be getting a little more complicated for the mother of North (8), Saint (5), Chicago (3) and Psalm (2).
Ray J’s former manager, Wack 100 (43), alleged earlier this month that he has “part two” of the former couple’s infamous sex tape on his laptop.
Wack claims the footage is "more graphic and better than the first one" which was sold to adult film studio Vivid Entertainment for $1 million after it was leaked online.
Marty Singer, Kim’s lawyer, has denied Wack’s claim.
“The claim that there is an unreleased sex tape is unequivocally false,” he said in a statement. “It is unfortunate that people make these statements to try and get their 15 minutes of fame.”
Ray J has also slammed the claims, posting a message to his former manager on Instagram, saying what he was doing “ain’t cool”.
“I been staying off the Raydar – Just staying focused and being humble and thankful for all the blessings I’m receiving. How can I show growth and maturity if this kinda of stuff keeps happening?” the 40-year-old artist wrote.
“I’m a father now and my job is to be a great parent and put them first. This is not the message I want to send out – smh.”
Ray J shares kids Melody (3) and Epik (20 months) with his wife, Princess Love (37).
Despite their protests and denials, Wack is sticking to his story.
The plot thickens even more with his claim of having spoken to Kim’s estranged husband, Kanye West (44), about the unreleased tape, and his promise to give it to him.
“Great convo my word is good I’ll get it right to you bro like I said I would,” he wrote alongside a photo of Ye. “I appreciate ya call good hearing from ya.”
The celebrity manager first made his claims about the alleged second sex tape on the 15 September episode of the Bootleg Kev podcast.
He said the footage has been made into an NFT that he would like to “gift” to Ye.
“All I know is Kanye, holla at me, bro. We got part 2 on the laptop. Ain’t never been seen,” he said at the time. “We’d love for you to have it. It’d be a great personal, private NFT.”
“I would never give it to anybody but Kanye,” he said. “That’s the mother of his children.”“We can’t put that out there in the world like that,” Wack said. “That’s disrespectful.”
Curiously, he did not offer the video to Kim herself.
