Jennifer Aniston auctions off iconic nude portrait of herself to donate funds for coronavirus relief

The 51-year-old actress is auctioning off her iconic 1995 black-and-white nude portrait for a good cause.

The image, which was captured in November of that year by renowned photographer Mark Seliger, features Jennifer sitting with her legs crossed in front of her chest, NY Post reports.

Taking to her Instagram page, The Morning Show actress told her followers she’d be auctioning off the piece – and also shared a video of Mark working in a darkroom.

According to Jen, all the proceeds from the sale will be donated to NAFClinics, an organisation that provides coronavirus testing and care to those who can’t afford it, Independent reports.

So far, the highest bid stands at $8 000 (R136 000) and the auction is set to end on 12 June.

The American portrait photographer has also auctioned off 25 of some of his best portraits which include notable figures such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Barack Obama and Billie Eilish, according to Complex.
