She spent two nights in hospital due to pregnancy complications but now that she’s back home, it’s back to Lego blocks, books and painting for Jo-Ann Strauss.
The former Miss SA’s fourth pregnancy has been fraught with severe nausea. “I’ve been plagued with hyperemesis gravidarum, and I was in hospital to have fluids administered because I was dehydrated from the constant vomiting,” she tells us.
Jo-Ann, who's seven months pregnant, says her kids take turns rubbing her belly. “My two-year-old thinks my belly button is a little hole where she can talk to her sister in my tummy,” she laughs.
