I FEEL AS IF I’VE BEEN DROPPED INTO A CHASM
I lost my job due to lockdown. I had a very senior position and thought I had a bright future, but the company couldn’t survive lockdown and went bankrupt so I was retrenched.
I feel as if I’ve been dropped into a chasm, my life has changed so drastically. Where I seldom used to worry about money, I now have to think about making ends meet and my savings are running out. I now live on the poverty line.
