She's trotted her way into the hearts and minds of millions of kids around the world and brought home plenty of bacon for the team who created her.

It’s safe to say Peppa Pig, the sweet and ever-so-slightly bossy preschooler, is a worldwide sensation. She even counts former American first couple Bill and Hillary Clinton among her phalanx of fans. 

And then there’s Boris Johnson. The British prime minister recently hogged headlines when he used Peppa in a ham-fisted attempt to praise “the power of UK creativity”.
