Achmat Hassiem (40) from Strandfontein, Cape Town, made headlines in 2006 after losing part of his right leg in a shark attack on Muizenberg Beach when he tried to save his younger brother, Taariq.   

Taariq spoke to YOU after a Cape Town woman died in Plettenberg Bay when she was attacked by a shark. 

“We feel for the [victim’s] family,” he says.
