One unlucky mom will have to spend the rest of her life explaining to her daughter why she had the word “loser” iced on her birthday cake.
Melin Jones from Missouri in the US, asked the woman at the counter of the store where she ordered the cake from, to please have the phrase “Happy Birthday, Lizard” iced on her daughter’s cake.
But the employee misheard her and instead the wording on the cake read ‘Happy Birthday, Loser’, writes Buzzfeed.
“We get home and as I’m unloading the car, I look at the cake and noticed it says ‘Happy Birthday, Loser’,” the 27-year-old mom shared in a Facebook post.
Melin revealed that even though she was taken aback by the wording, she laughed it off in the end. But little Elizabeth Jones (2) was not impressed.
An adorable snap taken of Elizabeth disapprovingly staring at the cake, had everyone in stitches.
“I ate every bit of that loser cake” Melin joked.
The cake was eventually replaced by another.
