HONEY TV’s thrilling cooking show, 7 Colours continues to cause a stir on social media for not only the food, but its dynamic celebrity pairing.
The show is a cooking competition that focuses on the longstanding South African food tradition. Every week, Moshe Ndiki and Lillian Dube visit people’s homes for the perfect Sunday kos meal. Each episode sees two teams from two different homes host the celebrity foodies, at the end, they judge each other. Ndiki and Lillian have the final say on who wins the competition.
“I love going into people’s homes, interacting with them and seeing what their plates look like,” Dube says. “My favourite part about being on set has to be Moshe. We work very well together.” Ndiki remarks that “being part of this show has been absolutely amazing.”
The show is filled with highlight-worthy moments since it first aired. Here are three noteworthy moments:
- When Lillian and Moshe painted in Soweto with a couple who was hosting.
- When Moshe was unimpressed with the soft beetroot.
- Moshe and Lillian’s welcome at the beginning of every episode.
