Get ready to welcome Meghan Markle (38) and Prince Harry (35) in their brand-new roles as public speakers!
The famous pair have reportedly signed with an elite speaking agency in New York called Harry Walker which counts amongst its A-list clientele Oprah Winfrey, the Obamas, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Tina Fey and Harry’s environmentalist friend, Jane Goodall.
The career move means the couple – who quit their royal roles in March – could make more than £1million per speaking engagement.
They will reportedly engage in keynote speeches with trade associations, corporations and community forums and cover topics such as racial justice, gender equality, the environment and mental health, according to the LA Times.
PR expert Mark Borkowski told The Sun the pair will “clean up”.
“I'm surprised they haven’t done this sooner. It will be one of the great income generators for them. The speaker's circuit is a natural safe space for them to plunder.”
In the meantime, they’re continuing with their charity work during the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier this week they paid a low-key visit to a LA bakery where they rubbed shoulders alongside former gang members as they helped prepare food.

Thank you to Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, for visiting and standing in kinship with our Café and Bakery teams yesterday! Our staff was thrilled to work alongside them as they helped prepare food and learned more about our newly launched #FeedHOPE program, which employs our program participants to provide meals to food-insecure seniors and youth across Los Angeles in the wake of the #COVID19 pandemic. ????????? For 32 years, Homeboy Industries has stood as a beacon of hope in Los Angeles to brave men and women seeking to transform their lives after gang-involvement and incarceration. Each year, we provide support to nearly 9,000 individuals through job training and free services such as tattoo removal, mental health services, GED classes, legal services, and more. Above all, we provide space for our clients to heal from intergenerational cycles of violence in a community of radical compassion. ????????? They visited the Homeboy Industries cafe, which shared photos of the pair folding dough and sorting out food boxes on Instagram. “Thank you to Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, for visiting and standing in kinship with our Café and Bakery teams yesterday!

A representative of the couple said the duke and duchess “connect deeply” with the organisation, which offer counselling services, education, legal assistance, addiction recovery and employment opportunities to former gang members.
“They feel it’s a perfect example of how empathy, kindness and compassion can change the world.”
Meanwhile a friend of Meghan’s told the Daily Mail that her instinct to leave the UK and move back to her native California all makes sense to her now, because she believes she was “destined” to help fight the systemic racism in the US.
“Meghan said her work as a leader is more important than ever right now and that she's been speaking with Oprah and other community leaders on how she can be part of the solution,” the insider says.
“She feels like her mission goes far beyond acting. She said she wants to use her voice for change and hasn't ruled out a career in politics.”
Earlier this month, Meghan made a surprise speech to the graduating class of her alma mater, Immaculate Heart High School at their virtual ceremony, in which she spoke about the “absolutely devastating” killing of George Floyd.
