Seven years ago the Swedish blogger – who goes by the name of Jelly Devote – ditched booze and began paying attention to her health, writes Cosmopolitan. It’s a lifestyle change that gave the smiling blonde woman her new self-assuredness and unmissable glow.

"I don’t know how much I drank — just that it was a lot," she says.

So the 27-year-old, whose real name is Asa English, swopped beers and ciders for protein shakes and her dancing shoes for trainers. And she looks amazing!

According to The Metro, Jelly cut down her alcohol consumption from three times a week to one glass of wine every other week. She’s also committed to daily exercise and a healthy eating plan, but adds that for her it’s all about balance.

“I eat a doughnut followed by a salad,” she says.

“Most importantly, I’ve gone from hating myself to loving myself.

Jelly, who lives in Sheffield, England, believes the emphasis needs to shift from the amount you weigh to your level of health.

“People always ask how much I’ve lost, and I honestly don’t know what my highest weight was. Due to hating myself so much, I didn’t weigh myself (probably around 75kg) and I don’t weigh myself anymore.”

She now wants to encourage others to join her in becoming the best versions of themselves.

“Everything is possible as long as you work hard for it.

“You decide how you want to live your life, what you strive for, how you want to be as a person.

“I know sometimes it’s hard to be motivated — we have all been there.

“If I could do it so can you!”
