Who doesn’t reach for food when going through a tough time? Let’s face it – food is a great pickme-up, so it’s normal that for so many of us, stress relief comes in the form of food.

The problem is that when we’re worried, stressed or tired, we tend to turn to sugary treats that provide an instant (but short-lived) boost.

While our meals often don’t factor into our decision-making process when we’re feeling overwhelmed, the foods we eat in times of stress can actually be the antidote we never knew we needed. And with the coronavirus pandemic still running rampant, it’s more important than ever to eat healthily to boost your immune system.
